Séverine is a Senior Associate in the climate and sustainability practice. Séverine has ten years of experience in British and European energy policy, chiefly in the field of electricity generation and supply, the low carbon transition, and carbon pricing.

Prior to joining Global Counsel, she worked at Energy UK, the trade association for the energy industry, where she set up the electric vehicles and heat workstreams and led the work on the low carbon transition of the energy sector. She represented Energy UK members’ interests in the Brexit negotiations. She has a degree in Economics from La Sorbonne University in France and a BSc in Environmental Studies from the Open University.

At GC she works on net zero and decarbonisation to support clients in developing their plans and strategies to transition to net zero across all sectors, from healthcare to shipping. She also covers all topics relevant to climate and sustainability, including carbon markets and ESG, and continues to be involved in energy related work through the support she provides to the energy team and other GC teams.
